Flirting 2.0

In my previous post I mentioned flirting, which of course got me thinking even more about it.

Now I mentioned my book was pretty old, and even if it were only 10 years old, I would think it would be quickly outdated when it comes to technology and flirting.

So let me ask this...what are the rules of flirting/dating when it comes to technology? Texting, tweeting and facebooking seem to make the lines all fuzzy.

Tell me what you think...

What are the rules of flirting with technology?

  1. rules are probably just to not take it too seriously. you can't put tone or inflection or any of the other subtle arts of communication into a txt, email or tweet. an emoticon can only take you so far.

  2. I definitely think flirting shouldn't be taken too seriously. It's really a fun way to connect with people.
I agree that a lot of communication art is lost in text. Wouldn't be something if we could effectively send emotion, inflection and facial expressions with each word in text. Maybe those will be features of the iPhone 6, haha. ;-)
